Leo Morejon
I have been working in social media since the early days.
Over the years I have worked at agencies, tech companies, and on the brand side with names like Oreo, Trident, Applegate, and Simply Orange.
Some highlights from my career:
- I led Oreo cookie’s social media and was part of the team behind one of the most groundbreaking moments in digital marketing: the Oreo Super Bowl blackout tweet.
In 2013, moments after the stadium lights went out during Super Bowl XLVII, we quickly capitalized on the blackout, posting the now-famous, real-time response: “You can still dunk in the dark.”
That single tweet made history, setting the new bar for how brands engage in the moment and shifting marketing focus toward speed and cultural relevance. - I helped develop Expion, a social media management platform trusted by both global enterprises and fast-growing startups. Following our success in the market, the platform was acquired by Sysomos before becoming part of a larger marketing technology suite.
- I have taught social media and digital marketing tech as an adjunct at Iowa State University and West Virginia University.
- In addition to co-founding and chairing the AI Marketers Guild, I build AI tools that solve real-world marketing problems, including Prompt To Product, which turns simple prompts into marketing tools, and Jingle My Brand, which lets businesses create custom retro style jingles in seconds.
With Social Lollipop, I am taking everything I have learned from agencies, brands, and marketing technology and putting it into tools that are simple to understand and easy to use.
